We the senior students at St Josephs Catholic School in Matamata.
We are a bunch of Year 4-6 students, full of fun and laughter.
We love to learn and we are always full of great inquiry questions.
We enjoy getting out in the afternoon sun for sports and class games.
Square maths group are today making chocolate cake and will be using equipment to measure and mix their ingredients. They will be measuring in grams and kilograms and will hopefully be sharing the finished product!
I loved it. It was so kind of Mr Wilkins to let us have a lot of fun as well as learning. Brooke and Ricco made a really funny cake it was as yellow as the sun. It was really funny because Mr Wilkins forgot the baking powder but he brought baking soda instead. Oscar , Krrish and Hannah made a U.F.O shaped cake and Zach, me and Reid made an square. from Miss Catherine

JAYDEN - Yesterday we made tasty chocolate cake. My partner was Annabella and our cake was the first one to be finished and we had to change the recipe a bit because dear old Mr Wikins got baking soda instead of baking powder. CATHERINE - It was so kind of Mr Wikins to let us make the cool chocolate cake. One came out like a ufo that was Oscar's, Hannah's, and Krrish's . Brooke and Ricco made a cake as yellow as the sun it came out as a square. Reid, Zach and me made a rectangle shaped cake and it was a nice, brown like proper chocolate cake. It was fun and great learning as well. We were lerning to use kilograms and grams to measure the ingredients. Annabella and Jayden made a cicle shaped cake it was nice and brown too. It was kind of funny because Mr Wikins forgot the baking powder and instead he brought baking soda but that was alright and it still tasted brilliant. I hope that squares group had a great time like me.
