Waihi Camp - 2014

We recently went to Waihi for our school camp and a great time was had by all.  Below are some great photos showing some of the different places we went.  During the three day camp we did abseiling, walking, swimming, cooking and much more. It was great that so many parents helped us and shared our wonderful experiences.

    Catherine - ABSEILING
    My favourite part was abseiling, fleeing down the side of the cliff face. I also enjoyed exploring the beach beside the roaring waves.The funniest part about abseiling was when the tide came in and we were the first group so it was pretty unfortunate for the two other groups. It was pretty scary on the first time but it was still really good fun.

    I liked going for walks on the beach and I really enjoyed abseiling, cooking, and I found lots of crabs and seaweed.

    Edward - Abseiling
    I like abseiling with Mr V because it was challenging and you had alot to think about while going down. I also liked swimming on the first day because the waves were huge and we could bodysurf- it was FUN!!

    I enjoyed abseiling because we got to go up really high and that made it more challenging and that made it so much more fun.

    The funniest day on camp was day one because we went on a walk and it was at Waihi camp. Then we went swimming at Waihi beach and I surfed on my boogie board and I nearly hit Mrs Marshall.
